SCILa participated in the 3rd International Conference on Machine Learning and Data Engineering

Junior Research Fellow Anton Surkov joined ICMLD 2024 that took place at Dehradun, India.

SCILa participated in the 3rd International Conference on Machine Learning and Data Engineering

Anton Surkov presented two papers:
1. "Detecting Ethnic Conflict in Social Media with Transformers and Augmented Data", investigating how large language models process ethnorelevant texts and how the biases of these models can be reduced by simple augmentation;
2. "AGDES: a Python package and an approach to generating synthetic data for differential equation solving with LLMs", describing a method of artificial generation of data suitable for training language models.
