Olessia Koltsova presented SCILA's projects at the expert seminar "Open Campus"

On the 12th of May Olessia Koltsova took part in a regular seminar "Open Campus" with a talk on three main projects of our laboratory: SocSig, EthnoHate, and BeWell.

Every Wednesday at 18:10 HSE — St.Petersburg holds an expert seminar "Open Campus". This time the head of the Laboratory for Social and Cognitive Informatics Olessia Koltsova was invited as a guest to give her expert opinion on several topics.
Her presentation «Social signature, subjective well-being and hate speech. What we learn about our real selves using virtual data?» was devoted to three central research projects of our laboratory:
1) Automatic detection of hate speech in Russian blogs (Ethnohate)
2) Social signature phenomenon on virtual social network users’ data (SocSig)
3) Predictors of psychological well-being of social networks users (BeWell)
