SCILA researchers took part in the 23rd conference of the European Society of Cognitive Psychology in Porto (Portugal)

On September 6-9, Elena Artemenko and Elina Tsigeman attended one of the largest events in cognitive psychology. About 800 researchers from all over the world took part in the conference.

On September 8, Elena presented the report “Why is our opinion the only one that matters?” Confirmation bias and social approval cues in fake news detection accuracy and credibility perception”, describing one of the results of the EyePoint project.
On September 9, Elina presented a poster report “Null disfluency effect in learning: evidence from two experiments,” based on data for her Phd research.
